What I’d Like Readers to Know About A Life Out Loud.
This isn’t just a collection of stories. It’s a journey through a life that’s been full of twists, turns, track switches, and unexpected stops. Some chapters will make you laugh, others might make you pause and think. A few might tug at your heart.

I wrote this book not to impress anyone, but to connect to say, hey, this happened, and maybe something like it happened to you too.

It’s a memoir rooted in the prairies, shaped by railways, and coloured by a lifetime of figuring things out as I went. It’s about finding your own rhythm, even when life throws you off schedule.

At the end of the day, I just hope readers walk away feeling a little more seen, a little more human, and maybe inspired to look at their own life story with fresh eyes.

    Hi Doug, If you have some copies, maybe Les could bring a few signed copies to Edmonton – as I am sure at least 3 of us want a copy. We can etransfer the cost. Marg SO EXCITING! I am looking forward to reading your book.

      Unfortunately, there just isn’t enough time for me to order and receive author copies for Les to bring with him. Just not enough time to get them physically here. We’ll have to wait until Sept 1st to order.
