Happy Canada Day, everyone.

From the mountain passes to the prairie winds, from quiet crisp mornings to vibrant city streets; Canada has been the backdrop of my life’s journey. It’s where I found purpose in my work, pride in my friendships, and comfort in knowing that who I am is not only accepted, but celebrated.

I’ve travelled this country by rail and by heart, through work, memory, and reflection. I’ve shared stories of hardship and humour, of chosen families and second chances. Through it all, one truth remains – being Canadian is a privilege.

We may not shout the loudest, but we show up. We care. We build. We listen. And when we stumble, we try again. That’s the Canada I know. The one I carry with me every day.

So, here’s to our messy, beautiful, evolving home. Here’s to the land, the people, and the stories that connect us.
